ORIGINS OF BLACK HISTORY MONTH
Black History Month was created in 1926 in the USA by Carter G Woodson. The month is celebrated in February in America and October in the UK. Ghanaian born Akyaaba Addai a GLC project worker founded the UK version of Black History Month in 1987.
